Ask Me Anything - No, really ask away

Ask Me Anything - No, really ask away

I have always been a big fan of Pat Flynn's "Ask Pat Podcast" or Gary Vaynerchuk's "#ASKGARYVEE" videos on Facebook or any other Ask Me Anything threads.

Instead of giving you a bunch of words to read, I’m going to instead make you an offer: You know my story. You know my lifestyle. Tell me: What else do you want to know?

Ask Me Anything is literally that – you can ask me anything.  As long as the question isn’t dreadfully inappropriate (wink), you’re free to ask me any question you like.

If you’re struggling to figure out what to ask, here are a few of the topics you may want to know more about:

  • Personal health
  • Blogging
  • My life
  • Being an entrepreneur
  • My daily routine
  • Supplements I take
  • Online business
  • Meal planning
  • How much spinach I eat on a daily basis
  • My favorite TV show
  • Why I love tennis

And so on, and so on.

Seriously, ask me anything in the comments below, and I will take the time to answer every single one.

Once again, please nothing inappropriate or weird. I'll let you be the judge of what is weird, I guess, haha!

All right, go for it, ask away!

Best advice for curving sugar cravings!

Great question Jody!

Here are a few things I have done, however it is also a struggle. I am still a work in progress...

1. Grab some protein or something high in fat (nuts, avocado, etc.)
2. If you drink coffee with sugar in it, add cinnamon instead
3. Try and lay off the processed foods
4. It less each day. Be mindful and try to eat less then what you ate the day before. You're human. You don't need to be perfect.
5. Sugar is evil...your body is your temple, so treat your temple like it should be treated. Think of something you take good care of and use the same mindset you use towards that item towards your body.
6. Eat fruit instead of something with processed sugar
7. Drink lots of water

Hope that helps and thanks for asking. ;-)

What type of greens do you add to your smoothies?

That is another great question Joanne.

For me I love all greens. I use spinach, kale, swiss chard and arugula. And when I don't have any greens I add some Green Power to my smoothie. Sorry shameless plug. :-)

The biggest thing is I make sure I rotate my greens. If you continue to eat the same greens day in and day out you can run the risk of eating toxins from that green if you eat to much of it in a short period of time. I try to rotate my greens weekly.

Thank you Chris! I did not know that about rotating greens. I will have to check out Green Power. I am just starting to add greens to my smoothie, thanks to your blog! ;-)

What diet are you on?
Chris - 11/27/2017 7:41:06 PM @ 11/27/2017 7:41:06 PM
That is a great question. Over the last couple of years I have bounced back and forth between a plant based diet and the keto diet.

I believe both diets are great and they work for myself and my family. I think when it comes to diet you should pick something that works for you. Don't just do a diet because someone says you should.

What is important is that you eat real food and eliminate as much processed food as possible...oh and of course eat your greens. :-)

I have also tried the mediterranean diet, which I think is a great diet for those that love all kinds of food.

Hope that helps and thank you for your question.
